With the success of our Engage Primary and Secondary programme, in Northampton, Saints Foundation have teamed up with Approved Business Finance to open a brand-new hub to support young people in Milton Keynes.

The hub, located within Top Jump, opened on Wednesday 24th January and provides a safe space for young people who find engaging with education challenging. Our work supports students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, with an aim to increase confidence and boost self-esteem and facilitate a return to education, the programme runs practical based activities to empower students and this move signifies important growth for the Foundation.

The hub marks an important partnership with Milton Keynes based Approved Business Finance. Approved Business Finance are one of the fastest growing finance brokerages in the UK. With over 30 years’ experience in the business finance arena, they specialise in securing much needed funding for both local and UK wide businesses. Their partnership has provided crucial funding and equipment to ensure the successful set up of the hub and is just one element of a long-term relationship, where Approved Business Finance and Northampton Saints Foundation work together.

“Our move to Milton Keynes has been a couple of years in the making” said Jordan Letts, Head of Foundation. "we are incredibly proud of the work Engage does in Northampton and are really looking forward to seeing its impact in Milton Keynes".

Greg Durkan, ABF Director added “We have supported the Foundations important work over a number of years. As a large local employer, with links to the local community, we are proud to continue to support the Foundation and its expansion into our city. We have seen first-hand, the positive impact that the Engage programme has on its student’s and look forward to seeing the programme grow from strength to strength”

With space for six students initially, every Wednesday and Friday, the Foundation plans to grow this to nine places, five days a week and to develop its post-16 offerings to create a college-based programme which will support young people who do not have basic maths and English qualifications into employment.
